Perform minor mechanical repairs including belt replacements, battery testing, and basic engine diagnostics to identify issues quickly. Assist with wheel alignments, tire service, and other automotive repair tasks to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various mechanical tasks while adhering to safety protocols. Support automotive diagnostics by utilizing basic testing equipment to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues. Assist senior technicians with heavy lifting and other maintenance tasks required for vehicle servicing. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use. Qualifications Previous dealership or automotive service experience is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential. Mechanical knowledge of standard passenger cars, including basic repair procedures and maintenance practices. Experience with automotive diagnostics, fluid replacement, oil changes, tire service, and alignment is highly desirable. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment is necessary for success in this role.
