Automotive Technician Mike's Expert Auto Repair Pinellas Park, FL Job Details Full-time $24 - $30 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications ASE Certification Vehicle inspections Automotive preventive maintenance inspections Automotive electrical faults troubleshooting Mechanical troubleshooting Full Job Description We are looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing independent repair shop. We are looking for a technician who can diagnose problems, use professional scan tools, and confidently repair a variety of makes and models. We are not looking for someone who simply replaces parts—we need someone who knows how to troubleshoot a vehicle and determine what is actually wrong. What We're Looking For Experience as an automotive technician Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Comfortable using professional scan tools Able to diagnose electrical, drivability and mechanical problems Experience working on a variety of domestic and import vehicles Able to work independently Takes pride in doing quality work Reliable, dependable and professional ASE certification is a plus, but not required We will consider candidates based on experience and ability Responsibilities Diagnose and repair automotive problems Perform general mechanical repairs and maintenance Troubleshoot electrical and drivability concerns Use diagnostic scan tools and other shop equipment Perform vehicle inspections and identify needed repairs Complete repairs accurately and efficiently Maintain a clean and organized work area Pay Hourly pay - negotiable based on experience and skill level. We are willing to pay for the right technician. Compensation will be discussed based on your experience, diagnostic ability and overall skill level. Why Join Us?
