Service Technician "C-Tech" - Destination Powersports Start Your Career in Powersports With a Team That Lives the Lifestyle Destination Powersports in Punta Gorda, Florida is looking for an entry-level or developing Service Technician ("C-Tech") to join our growing team. This position focuses on:
New unit assembly and setup Routine maintenance and service Accessory installation Oil changes and tune-ups Vehicle inspections and preparation Supporting senior technicians and service operations We work on motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, personal watercraft, dirt bikes, scooters, and more from many of the industry's top brands. Whether your background comes from powersports, automotive, marine, RV, or equipment repair, we're willing to train the right person with the right attitude and work ethic. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Self-motivated and dependable Detail-oriented Eager to learn and grow Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Passionate about powersports and mechanical work Able to stay organized and communicate with the service team Mechanical experience is required, but ongoing coaching, manufacturer training, and hands-on development are part of the job. Technician Responsibilities Assemble and prepare new units for delivery Perform basic maintenance and repair services Install accessories and customer add-ons Complete oil changes, tune-ups, inspections, and routine service work Keep Service Advisors and Service Management updated on repair status Maintain a clean and organized work area Participate in online and in-house training programs Properly maintain dealership tools, equipment, and shop standards Continue developing technical knowledge and certifications Qualifications Previous mechanical or technician experience preferred Powersports, automotive, marine, RV, or related experience is helpful Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Basic understanding of brakes, suspension, steering, electrical systems, and drivability diagnostics is a plus Must have your own tools/toolbox Motorcycle endorsement/license is a plus but not required Strong work ethic and willingness to learn required Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Full-time permanent position Health insurance available Dental insurance available Vision insurance available 401(k) available Paid vacation 5-day work week Two consecutive days off each week Long-term advancement opportunities Why Work at Destination Powersports?
