Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ASE Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will contribute to delivering top-tier automotive service, utilizing advanced tools and technical knowledge to handle a variety of repair tasks efficiently. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of vehicles, including GM models and diesel engines, in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Responsibilities Conduct detailed diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Perform repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, gas and diesel engines, and other mechanical systems with precision. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs, maintenance, and component replacements. Execute vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and suspension work to keep vehicles in peak condition. Diagnose and repair advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and automotive electrical systems for modern vehicles. Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electronic problems. Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications while providing excellent customer service by explaining work performed clearly. Skills Proven experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and ADAS technology. "dealership experience a plus" Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures including alignments and powertrain repairs. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software. Familiarity with auto estimating processes and service technician workflows. Mechanical knowledge of transmissions, diesel engines and general automotive repair techniques. "GM vehicle experience a plus" Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
