Job Description
Job Summary:
Come join the team at Smith's RV! Smith's RV is a well-established family owned and operated RV dealership for over 80 years! Camping season is near and we are seeking a RV Technician. This position consists of diagnosing new and used travel trailers, fifth wheel and motorhomes. Looking for an individual to work on all aspects of Recreational Vehicle repairs including Heating, AC, Plumbing, Electrical, LP, Generators, Appliances, Interior components, Hitch work, and moreDuties:
- Perform diagnostic tests to identify issues with RV systems and components
- Install and repair RV accessories and appliances, such as air conditioning units, refrigerators, and plumbing systems
- Keep accurate records of repairs performed and parts used
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions about RV maintenance
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an RV Technician or in a similar role is helpful but not required
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and tools
- Familiarity with RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
- Proficiency in using power tools and equipment for repairs
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and explain repairs needed
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- RVIA Certification is helpful but not required
