Automotive Service Technician responsibilities Perform work and execute repairs as outlined on repair order accurately and efficiently in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Test drive vehicles, test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special equipment. Ability to properly diagnose and repair customer concerns correctly the first time. Document all work performed. Communicate diagnosis and repair time frame to Service Advisor in order to keep the customer updated. Communicates any additional work needed directly with the Service Advisor Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
