Job Overview The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role requires hands-on expertise in automotive repair, vehicle maintenance, and diagnostics, with a focus on delivering high-quality service to our customers. The Automotive Mechanic will play a vital role in ensuring vehicles are operating efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive automotive repairs including engine, transmission, brake systems, suspension, and welding tasks. Conduct thorough vehicle diagnostics to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Carry out routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections to prolong vehicle lifespan. Repair or replace brake components to ensure safety standards are met. Service and repair suspension systems to improve vehicle handling and comfort. Diagnose complex mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment. Utilize welding skills for bodywork repairs or structural modifications as needed. Maintain detailed records of repairs and services performed on each vehicle. Follow safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment. Skills Proven experience in automotive repair and maintenance. Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively. Proficiency in brake repair, suspension system repair, transmission repair, and welding techniques. Knowledge of automotive systems and components. Ability to operate diagnostic tools and specialized equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills for explaining repairs and recommendations to customers. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
