Job Description
Auto Paint Technician KGZ Collision Center is looking for an experienced Auto Paint Technician / Automotive Painter to join our collision repair team. Responsibilities Prepare vehicles and body panels for refinishing Sand, prime, seal, mask, and clean panels before painting Mix and match paint colors accurately Perform basecoat/clearcoat refinishing Blend adjacent panels when necessary for proper color match Identify and correct paint imperfections Polish and finish painted surfaces Maintain a clean and organized paint and prep area Work closely with body technicians to keep repairs moving efficiently Produce high-quality finishes that meet professional collision repair standards Qualifications Previous automotive painting experience required Strong color-matching and blending skills Experience with collision repair refinishing Knowledge of proper paint preparation and application procedures Ability to work independently and efficiently Attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced body shop environment What We Offer Consistent collision repair work Professional body shop environment Competitive pay based on experience and skill level Opportunity for long-term employment Well-equipped facility
