Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems, including electrical, mechanical, powertrain, transmission, suspension, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Repair and maintain vehicles by replacing faulty components, interpreting automotive wiring diagrams, and executing precise repairs on engines, transmissions, axles, suspension systems, and electrical systems. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex problems efficiently and accurately. Conduct wheel alignments and vehicle suspension system repairs to ensure optimal handling and safety standards. Repair diesel engines and perform powertrain repairs while adhering to manufacturer specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair equipment safely and effectively to complete repairs. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating tasks accurately, and communicate repair findings clearly to customers. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards while delivering excellent customer service throughout the repair process. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive service technician experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models a plus Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair procedures. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams interpretation, and vehicle transmission system repair. Skilled in using automotive diagnostic tools for troubleshooting complex issues efficiently. Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Valid certification in automotive repair or technician training programs is highly desirable.
