This position will primarily focus on preventative maintenance and light-to-moderate repairs on Class 8 tractors and trailers . We are looking for dependable technicians who can diagnose problems, complete repairs efficiently, and help keep our fleet safe and on the road. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs on Class A tractors and trailers Diagnose and repair lighting and electrical issues Repair and replace tires, wheels, and related components Diagnose and repair air lines and air system components Perform brake and suspension repairs Repair and maintain trailer tarp systems Complete trailer repairs, including doors, hardware, landing gear, and other components Perform DOT-related inspections and repairs Identify additional maintenance or safety concerns during inspections Accurately document completed repairs and parts used Maintain a clean and organized work area Work closely with our existing maintenance and operations teams What We're Looking For Previous experience working on Class 8 trucks and/or heavy-duty trailers Strong knowledge of tractor and trailer preventative maintenance Experience with air brakes, suspension, electrical/lighting, tires, air systems, and trailer components Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently Welding/fabrication experience is a plus Must have your own basic hand tools Valid driver's license CDL is a plus, but not required Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Type of Work This position is primarily focused on fleet maintenance, inspections, and light-to-moderate repairs .
