We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at an established automotive repair shop. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnostic tests, and repairs on various types of vehicles. Candidate MUST have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a technician, with a strong track record of diagnosing and repairing automotive problems.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Diagnose and repair automotive problems, including engine, transmission, and electrical systems. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs. Communicate with customers to explain recommended repairs and obtain approval before proceeding. Maintain accurate records of all work performed and customer interactions. Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques. Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to ensure customer needs are met. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when working on vehicles. Provide exceptional customer service to build long-term relationships with customers. Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards set by the shop.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

MUST HAVE 3

years of experience as an automotive technician.

MUST HAVE TOOLS

Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment, including computerized diagnostic systems. Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures. Ability to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, and electrical problems. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical information to customers. ASE certification preferred. Availability to work weekends and evenings.
