Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on RV electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repairing wiring, lighting, and power sources. Conduct mechanical repairs such as engine diagnostics, transmission servicing, suspension work, shocks & struts replacement, and brake repairs. Service and maintain RV plumbing systems, HVAC units, and other vital components to ensure optimal operation. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized equipment to complete repairs efficiently and safely. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections. Diagnose complex issues involving automotive electrical systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Assist with assembly or reassembly of RV components during repairs or upgrades while adhering to safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Experience Proven dealership experience or service technician background with a focus on automotive or RV repair. Strong electrical experience including RV electrical system diagnostics and automotive electrical repairs. Knowledge of mechanical systems such as engines (including diesel engines), transmissions, HVAC units, suspension systems, shocks & struts. Hands-on experience with plumbing system maintenance and repair within RVs or similar vehicles. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and equipment for troubleshooting complex issues effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic devices. Prior experience in auto body repair or welding is a plus but not required; a willingness to learn is essential. Knowledge of wood working/carpentry is a big plus.
