Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with experience in operating heavy equipment and machinery. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are functioning optimally. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of diesel engines and related systems to identify issues. Perform repairs on varies types of vehicles and equipment. Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs efficiently. Provide tire service and maintenance for various types of vehicles and machinery. Operate heavy equipment as needed for testing and repairs. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working in the shop or field. Qualifications Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role. Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair techniques and practices. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and maintenance. Experience with farm machinery is a plus. Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment. Ability to solder components when necessary. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. DOT Certification.
