Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle service and repair. In this role, you'll utilize your mechanical expertise to diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Whether working on complex electrical systems or performing routine maintenance, your skills will drive the success of our service department and keep drivers on the road with confidence. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems. Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections. Repair and replace components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools. Work on advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) calibrations and ensure proper functioning of safety features. Collaborate with team members to complete auto estimating processes and ensure timely service delivery for customers. Requirements Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics tools. Hands-on experience with ADAS technology, alignments, transmissions, and powertrain repairs. Mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software. Ability to work efficiently on GM vehicles or similar makes; experience with diesel engine repair is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Valid mechanic certification or relevant automotive service training; prior experience in auto estimating is advantageous. $22.00 - $45.00 per hour
