Lube Technician
Job Description
About the Position We're looking for a motivated, dependable Lube Technician to join our service team at our Ford dealership. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with vehicles, takes pride in quality work, and wants to build a career in the automotive industry. As a Lube Technician, you'll perform routine maintenance and basic service work while working alongside experienced automotive technicians in a professional dealership environment. Responsibilities Perform oil and filter changes, lubrication services, and routine vehicle maintenance Inspect and check fluid levels, tire pressure, belts, hoses, and other basic vehicle components Perform tire rotations and basic tire inspections Complete multi-point vehicle inspections accurately Follow Ford and dealership service procedures and safety standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Properly use and maintain shop equipment and tools Communicate vehicle concerns and recommended repairs to service advisors and technicians Document work performed accurately on repair orders Provide customers with dependable, high-quality service Qualifications Previous automotive or mechanical experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and mechanical systems Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable attendance and a positive attitude Ability to work as part of a team Ability to safely lift and handle automotive components and equipment What We Offer Competitive pay Opportunities for advancement within the service department On-the-job training and continued development Employee discounts Professional dealership environment Consistent workflow and opportunities to increase your automotive skills Potential career path toward becoming a certified automotive technician Why Join Us?
