About Us & The Opportunity We are a proud, family-owned and operated auto repair shop for more than 20 years. Because we have a massive influx of fleet account work , we have an immediate opening for an experienced mechanic. We treat our team like family, we do not work weekends, and we keep a steady, busy shop.

We are not just looking for another mechanic to turn wrenches. We want a future leader who has the desire and drive to work themselves into a Shop Manager role within the next 2 to 3 years .
What We Offer Hourly Pay:
Guaranteed hourly rate based on experience (not flat rate).
Career Growth:
A clear, defined pathway to a Shop Manager position in 2 to 3 years.
Work-Life Balance:
Monday through Friday schedule only.
Weekends Off:
Strictly closed Saturdays and Sundays.
Paid Holidays:
Starting after 90 days of employment.
Vacation Time:
Paid time off available after one year.
Job Stability:
Consistent volume driven by stable fleet accounts. Job Responsibilities & Scope of WorkWe handle everything from quick routine maintenance to complex heavy internal repairs. Your daily workload and evolving responsibilities will include:
State Inspections:
Performing official vehicle safety inspections.
Routine Maintenance:
Tire changes, oil changes, brake jobs, belts, and hoses must be a second-nature "no-brainer" for you.
Heavy Mechanical Work:
Diagnostics, timing chains/belts, transmission replacements, and full engine swaps.
Leadership Development:
Shifting over time from daily wrenching to assisting with shop workflow, customer service, and team coordination as you transition into management. Requirements (Strictly Required)
Licensing:
Must hold an active, valid Missouri State Inspector License (Non-Negotiable) .
Experience:
Proven experience in both general maintenance and heavy engine/transmission mechanics.
Leadership Qualities:
Strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and a desire to lead a team.
Ambition:
A clear career goal to run and manage a shop within 24-36 months.
Tools & License:
Must possess your own tools and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. We are looking to onboard the right leader immediately.
Pay:
$22.00 - $40.00 per hour
