Overview Join our dynamic team as an ASE Certified Technician, where your expertise will drive excellence in automotive repair and customer satisfaction. As a key player in our service department, you will utilize your ASE certification to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicle systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your hands-on experience will help keep vehicles running smoothly and customers happy. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems including engines, electrical systems, and transmissions. Repair and maintain powertrain components, engines (including diesel engines), and vehicle electrical systems with precision and efficiency. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical problems accurately. Conduct wheel alignments, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations, and vehicle system inspections to ensure safety standards are met. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical repair techniques for repairs ranging from minor adjustments to major overhauls. Follow manufacturer specifications and schematics for engine repair, heavy lifting procedures, and vehicle maintenance tasks. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicles are returned in optimal condition with quality workmanship. Experience Proven ASE certification with a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics. Dealership experience is highly preferred, especially with GM vehicles or similar brands. Hands-on experience working with automotive engine systems, including diesel engines and powertrain components. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, ADAS calibration, and schematic interpretation. Skilled in using automotive diagnostic tools and understanding vehicle systems for efficient troubleshooting. Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with heavy lifting, alignment procedures, auto body repair basics, welding, and maintenance tasks. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service; ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
