Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and versatile Water Pump Technician/General Laborer/CDL B Driver to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment including loaders, backhoes, excavators, dozers, and bucket trucks to assist with water system installation, repair, and maintenance projects. Drive commercial trucks with a CDL B license to transport equipment, materials, and personnel safely between job sites. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on water pumps, power tools, hand tools, and other mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance. Conduct underground utility inspections and pipeline work while adhering strictly to safety protocols for low voltage and high voltage systems. Use voltmeters and other testing tools to troubleshoot electrical systems related to water infrastructure projects. Support installation of water systems by performing welding, equipment maintenance, excavation support, and general labor tasks in outdoor environments. Follow all safety procedures diligently, including proper rigging techniques, equipment operation standards, and underground utility protocols. Participate in on-call coverage as needed for emergency repairs or urgent project demands. Experience Prior experience working in the energy & utilities sector or construction environment is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to operate heavy machinery such as loaders, backhoes, excavators, dozers, and bucket trucks safely and efficiently. Knowledge of water systems installation, maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), underground utilities, pipeline work, and outdoor construction projects. Familiarity with power tools including drills, grinders, welders; hand tools; safety equipment; and testing devices like voltmeters. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and climbing while maintaining safety standards.
