In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Your expertise will help keep our customers' vehicles in top condition, providing reliable service that exceeds expectations. We're looking for passionate professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to apply their mechanical skills to a variety of automotive systems. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance tasks with precision and efficiency. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs and modifications effectively. Work on diesel engines, heavy equipment mechanics tasks, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations to ensure modern vehicle safety features function properly. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems on various vehicle makes including GM vehicles. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Qualifications Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive suspension systems, transmissions, brake repair, wheel alignment, and diesel engine repair. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics for efficient troubleshooting. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and auto estimating processes is highly desirable. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Valid certification or license relevant to automotive mechanics; ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is a plus.
