Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen carefully to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs. Provide detailed explanations of recommended services and repairs, utilizing estimating software to generate clear, transparent estimates. Upsell additional services and maintenance options that enhance vehicle performance and safety, maximizing customer value. Coordinate with service technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of work. Maintain thorough records of all service interactions, estimates, and work orders using dealership management systems. Communicate effectively with clients about vehicle diagnostics, repair procedures, and estimated costs, ensuring complete understanding. Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments securely while maintaining high levels of customer trust. Requirements Proven experience in automotive service advising or related roles within a dealership environment. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including transmissions, brakes, suspension, tires, shocks & struts, air brakes, alignments, and oil changes. Familiarity with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally. Previous experience in auto service management or service writing is highly desirable. Ability to upsell services confidently while prioritizing customer needs; sales experience is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in automotive diagnostics is advantageous.
