Job Summary Join our team as a Mechanical Helper and become a vital part of maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of light to heavy-duty vehicles and associated equipment. You will preform maintenance, light repairs, and assist with equipment installation on these vehicles. We specialize in repair, maintenance and installations on specialized vehicles. Duties Must have knowledge of tools and basic shop equipment Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes and lubrication. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues is a plus. Fabricate or modify parts using welding equipment and hand tools to meet specific repair or customization needs is a plus. Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, or other industrial machinery for maintenance or repair purposes is a plus. Fill out service records for all repairs performed and parts used. Assist in the assembly and disassembly of vehicle components during repairs or installations. Requirements Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role. Working knowledge of electrical diagnostics, vehicle systems (including HVAC), equipment operation is all a plus. Proficiency with schematics for electrical systems and mechanical diagrams; ability to interpret technical manuals accurately, but we will train you as required. Skilled in using power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic devices essential for vehicle maintenance all a plus. Ability to perform some heavy lifting safely Valid drivers license.

Pay:

$25.00 - $38.00 per hour
