Location:
This is a shared location role that will provide support to both ACE Carting (Fort Ann, NY) and County Waste (Johnstown, NY) with a regular schedule of three days per week at one location and two days per week at the other.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8am -6pm / 50 to 55 hours per week / Saturday's as needed.
Pay Rate:
$26.00 to $28.00 per hour (Dependent on experience) As a key member of our automotive maintenance technicians team, your work as a Diesel Mechanic will focus on the overall maintenance ofequipmentused by our company in the transportation and handling of vehicles. This will involve, inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical, hydraulics, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles andequipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Initiating or assigning repairs by utilizing vehicle computer electronic systems to interpretfailure modes Completing requiredpaperworkutilizingfleet maintenancesoftware program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times Reviewing, completing, or assigning repairs identified on DriverVehicle InspectionReports Conductingsafetychecks on vehicles andequipment Performing service calls for emergency breakdowns Maintaining a clean,safe work environmentincompliancewith corporate andOSHAstandards What we need from you: Minimum 1 year of proven experience in the field Valid Driver's Licensewith Clean Driving Record Schedule flexibility to work 2nd shift Monday-Friday and occasional Saturdays Ability to adapt to a wide variety of environments to complete work assignments Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Welding/fabricationexperience,a major plus What you'll get from us: Competitive Compensation 401(K) with company match; let us help you save for your future Healthcare; Medical, Dental, Vision Perks, perks, perks!
