Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, HVAC systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment to prevent failures and extend equipment lifespan. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, and precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters. Conduct electrical diagnostics on low voltage and high voltage systems, including electrical systems repairs and electrical troubleshooting to ensure safety and compliance. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future inspections. Repair or replace components using welding techniques such as stick welding or welding with other methods; operate equipment like scissor lifts safely for elevated maintenance tasks. Read schematics and technical manuals to perform accurate repairs on complex machinery; interpret engineering troubleshooting guides for efficient problem resolution. Collaborate with field service teams to perform equipment troubleshooting and repairs on-site; provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding repair status and solutions. Requirements Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility or industrial environment with a strong background in industrial mechanic work. Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC/R systems, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, schematics reading, and electrical blueprint interpretation. Hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting, electrical diagnostics, welding (stick welding preferred), and equipment repair. Ability to read technical schematics and engineering troubleshooting guides accurately; experience with electrical maintenance including high voltage systems is highly desirable. Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management; field service experience is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by industrial electrician experience; excellent troubleshooting skills in electrical systems are essential. Effective communication skills in English; ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Valid certifications related to industrial maintenance or electrical work are preferred; proficiency with scissor lifts or HVAC/R certifications is advantageous.
