Responsibilities Operate the cash register accurately, handling cash, credit card transactions, and balancing the cash drawer at shift end Provide friendly and efficient customer service, addressing inquiries and assisting with product selections Conduct retail sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems while ensuring proper documentation Stock shelves and maintain clean, organized displays of store products and merchandise Perform product demos to educate customers about new or featured items, encouraging upselling opportunities Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing information to customers over the phone Assist in merchandising efforts to enhance store presentation and promote sales of key products Support inventory management through stocking, inventory counts, and reporting low stock levels Qualifications Prior experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales is preferred but not required; training will be provided Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for those interested in advancement opportunities Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and customer service orientation Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations Knowledge of retail store product knowledge and merchandising techniques is advantageous Ability to handle cash register operations efficiently, including cash handling and balancing at shift end Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude who enjoys engaging with customers in a fast-paced environment
