Job Summary Tarrytown Honda is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their automotive service needs are met with professionalism and expertise. This role requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of automotive services, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Duties Meet & greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival at the dealership. Answer incoming service calls and schedule appointments Assess customer needs by listening attentively and asking relevant questions about vehicle issues. Provide customers of estimated service/repair costs and anticipated completion time Collaborate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service requests, and repairs performed. Communicate effectively with customers regarding the status of their vehicles and any additional services required. Promote dealership services and products to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales. Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with dealership standards and safety regulations by getting it right the First Time Record and report any issues to the Service & Parts Director Qualifications Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of automotive repair processes including oil change, brake repair, auto estimating, and alignment is essential. Familiarity with dealership operations and sales techniques is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers quickly. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
