Job Description

Job Overview Blue Point Automotive is looking for an experienced A-Tech or B-Tech Automotive Technician to join our busy, growing shop in Harrah, Oklahoma. We are looking for someone who is dependable, motivated, experienced, and ready to work. The ideal technician should be capable of consistently flagging at least 40 labor hours per week. We are looking for an experienced technician who has a positive attitude, work efficiently, diagnose problems accurately, and take pride in quality repairs.
Duties:
Diagnose and repair a wide variety of vehicle issues using professional diagnostic equipment and proper repair procedures. Perform mechanical repairs including brakes, suspension, steering, engine-related repairs, cooling systems, electrical issues, and general automotive repair. Perform wheel alignments accurately and efficiently. Complete routine maintenance including oil changes, fluid services, tire-related services, and preventative maintenance. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, repair information, and technical specifications when diagnosing vehicle concerns. Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship. Keep work areas organized and communicate effectively with the service team. Complete repairs accurately and within appropriate labor times.
Requirements:
Previous professional automotive repair experience required. A-Tech or B-Tech level experience. Must be capable of consistently flagging approximately 40-50 labor hours per week. Must be able to perform wheel alignments. Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a busy shop. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Motivated individual who wants to work, stay productive, and make hours. Positive attitude and ability to work well with the rest of the team. Must take pride in completing repairs correctly and thoroughly.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday:
8:00 AM-5:30
PM & Saturday:
8:00 AM-3:00
PM Compensation:
Compensation is based on experience and skill level and is paid according to flagged labor hours, not clock hours worked. Any hourly rate shown by the job platform should be understood as the rate paid per flagged labor hour, not a guaranteed hourly wage for every clock hour on site. We are a busy, family-owned automotive repair shop with consistent work and are looking for the right technician to become a long-term part of our team.
Pay:
$19.33 - $30.50 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
