Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that each vehicle meets safety standards and performs optimally, delivering exceptional service to our customers. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, shocks & struts, and powertrain systems. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and wheel balancing to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Service ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and auto electrical systems to enhance vehicle safety features. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs, welding, and maintenance tasks while adhering to safety protocols. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides to execute repairs efficiently on GM vehicles or other makes. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Extensive mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including diesel engines, transmissions, and auto body repair. Proficiency in automotive electrical systems, Schematics reading, and auto estimating software. Hands-on experience with brake repair, wheel alignment, suspension work, shocks & struts replacement, and tire service. Ability to perform maintenance tasks such as oil changes and general vehicle upkeep efficiently. Skilled in welding and auto body repair techniques for comprehensive vehicle restoration projects.
