Oklahoma City, OK Trailer Technician Summary:

In this role, the Trailer Technician is responsible for performing inspections, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial trailers to ensure safe and reliable operation. The ideal candidate will have experience with welding, brake systems, suspension components, and DOT maintenance.

Trailer Technician Pay Rate:

$28 - $38/hr

Trailer Technician Hours:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00

PM Trailer Technician Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial trailers. Inspect, diagnose, and repair brake systems. Repair and maintain suspension components. Perform welding and fabrication repairs as needed. Conduct DOT inspections and maintenance. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and structural trailer issues. Replace damaged or worn trailer parts and components. Maintain accurate repair and inspection records. Follow safety procedures and company standards. Keep the work area clean and organized. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding repair status and equipment needs.

Trailer Technician Basic Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous trailer technician or trailer repair experience required. Strong welding and fabrication experience required. Knowledge of brake systems, suspension systems, and DOT maintenance. Ability to diagnose and repair trailer mechanical issues. Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
