Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling techniques and portion control to minimize waste. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Support dietary department needs by understanding specific dietary restrictions and assisting in meal preparation accordingly. Skills Proven experience in food industry roles such as dietary aide, restaurant cook, or catering assistant. Strong culinary skills including grilling, braising, poaching, and knife techniques. Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures. Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and food production in high-volume settings. Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Excellent food handling skills combined with a keen eye for detail in food presentation. Background in fine dining or catering environments is a plus for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
