Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Troubleshoot complex machinery issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments. Conduct equipment repairs utilizing welding techniques such as stick welding and precision mechanical work to restore functionality. Diagnose electrical problems with industrial electrical systems and implement effective solutions using electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, maintenance activities, and equipment history. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and engineering troubleshooting guides to identify root causes of equipment failures. Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting pneumatic systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other automation components to improve system performance. Operate heavy machinery such as scissor lifts safely for maintenance tasks at elevated or hard-to-reach areas. Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols related to electrical maintenance, welding, and industrial mechanics. Qualifications Proven experience working in manufacturing facilities or industrial environments as a mechanic or maintenance technician. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and industrial maintenance practices. Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting electrical systems, and reading electrical schematics or blueprints. Proficiency with tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other precision measuring instruments. Skilled in welding techniques including stick welding; ability to perform equipment repairs requiring metal fabrication. Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and documentation. Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately for troubleshooting purposes. Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation when working with internal teams or external vendors. Valid certifications or experience in industrial electrician work or HVAC/R systems are preferred. Strong communication skills in English for effective documentation and teamwork.
