40 hours guaranteed; top technicians regularly produce 60+ flagged hours per week Introduction We are seeking a Strong B Level Automotive Technician to join a family-owned independent automotive repair shop in Bristol, Rhode Island. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who enjoys mechanical repairs, maintenance, and light diagnostics while earning a guaranteed production-based income. You'll work alongside a collaborative team in a modern, well-equipped shop that values quality workmanship, ongoing training, and long-term career growth. Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance and mechanical repairs on domestic, Asian, and European vehicles. Complete suspension, brake, alignment, and general automotive repair services. Diagnose and repair basic mechanical and drivability concerns. Perform digital vehicle inspections using Tekmetric . Utilize diagnostic equipment, including Autel and Snap-on scan tools, to support repair and diagnostic work. Accurately document repairs and recommendations within the shop management system. Work collaboratively with the service team to deliver high-quality repairs and outstanding customer service. Qualifications Five or more years of professional shop automotive repair experienceREQUIRED.
Strong mechanical repair experience with brakes, suspension, alignments, maintenance, and general automotive repair. Basic automotive diagnostic skills. Experience in either an independent repair shop or dealership environment. Team-oriented with dependable work habits and a commitment to quality workmanship. ASE certifications are preferred but not required. Compensation & Benefits Flat-rate pay of $40- 50 per flagged hour with a production guarantee (DEPENDING
