Role Overview The CDL Industrial Environmental Technician plays a vital role in executing environmental remediation, waste management, and industrial cleaning tasks at various client locations. Success in this position requires the skilled operation of heavy machinery and specialized tools, such as hydroblasters, vacuum systems, pumps, and various lift equipment, all while maintaining rigorous safety standards. Reporting Structure:

Regional Manager Core Responsibilities Manage the operation of heavy and light industrial machinery, including vacuum units, pumps, hydroblasting systems, forklifts, man lifts, jackhammers, and other specialized apparatus. Execute environmental and cleaning projects, such as chemical spill remediation, tank and boiler maintenance, equipment decontamination, and the handling of hazardous or non-hazardous waste materials. Help maintain a safe and efficient work site by assisting with the operation of waste-removal and vacuum systems. Complete all necessary equipment and vehicle safety checks, including the submission of Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR). Ensure all tasks are performed in strict alignment with regulatory standards and internal safety protocols. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting, climbing, and material handling. Protect company assets by ensuring equipment is used correctly and reporting any damage or mechanical issues to management immediately. Help maintain a positive professional image for the company by adhering to uniform standards and maintaining a respectful demeanor at client sites. Support the team by remaining highly responsive to emergency-response needs and on-call scheduling requirements. Help ensure high-quality project outcomes by approaching every assignment with urgency and a focus on safety. Required Qualifications Possession of a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a Tanker endorsement. Current driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) medical exam. Successful completion of drug testing and background screening. Ability to complete required certifications, including 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER, Confined Space Entry (CSE), and other technical training. Competence in the safe operation of industrial machinery and motor vehicles. Ability to complete tasks independently with minimal supervision. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Preference for candidates with a strong mechanical background. Preference for candidates with previous experience in construction, environmental, or industrial sectors. Flexibility to travel to job sites, typically within a four-hour radius. Physical and Environmental Demands Technicians must be capable of meeting the following physical requirements: Endure strenuous physical activity for long durations. Lift and move items weighing between 50 and 75 pounds. Maintain mobility through standing, walking, climbing, and bending for extended shifts. Navigate industrial structures such as tanks, vessels, scaffolding, and ladders. Operate in environments with high noise levels or confined spaces. Work safely in areas where exposure to corrosive, toxic, or hazardous substances is possible. Correctly utilize all required PPE, including respirators. Maintain a clean-shaven face to ensure the proper fit of respiratory protection. Work extended shifts beyond eight hours when operational needs dictate.
