Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team in Mitchell and/or Huron, SD. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. This role involves diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems, ensuring high-quality service to our customers, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Duties Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues with vehicles. Conduct repairs on automotive electrical systems, powertrains, transmissions, and diesel engines. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for vehicle maintenance and repair tasks. Interpret schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive problems. Execute alignment services and other mechanical repairs as needed. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding vehicle issues and repair options. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including auto estimating for parts and labor. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the shop. Experience Previous experience as a service technician in an automotive dealership is a must. Familiarity with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus. Proficient in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques, including mechanical knowledge of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram and Ford vehicles. A strong background in vehicle maintenance, including alignment and general automotive service practices. Excellent customer service skills to enhance client satisfaction.
