The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, dependable, safety-minded, and able to quickly identify the cause of performance and mechanical problems. Key Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, and repair a variety of automotive systems. Remove and reinstall transmissions and related components. Perform general automotive repairs, including brakes, tune-ups, A/C, and other mechanical repairs. Perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics, including drivability testing. Assist other technicians with technical repairs and troubleshooting. Clearly communicate problems and repair recommendations to service writers and other technicians. Stay current on new automotive technology, diagnostic equipment, tools, and repair techniques. Accurately document inspection findings so repair costs can be properly estimated. Safely operate and maintain shop tools and equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience and skill level. Valid driver's license. Own professional-grade tools necessary to perform general automotive repairs. Strong experience performing brakes, tune-ups, A/C repairs, and other general repair procedures. Experience diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems. Experience with drivability diagnosis and testing. Ability to remove and reinstall transmissions. Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures. Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment. Ability to work independently while also supporting and working well with a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality repairs.
