We operate a fleet of well-maintained Cessna 172s and 182RG and are looking for a skilled, safety-minded Aircraft Mechanic to join our team and help support our expanding operations. Position Summary The Aircraft Mechanic will be responsible for performing inspection, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on our aircraft. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and airworthiness. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and non-routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on piston-engine aircraft Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues Conduct 100-hour and annual inspections in accordance with FAA regulations Complete logbook entries, work orders, and documentation accurately and in a timely manner Ensure all maintenance is performed in compliance with company and FAA requirements Coordinate with maintenance associates, flight school management, flight instructors, and office staff on aircraft status, scheduled downtime, and urgent repairs Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment Assist with parts ordering, inventory management, and tracking of maintenance items Support fleet reliability and minimize aircraft downtime Qualifications Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in hangar/flightline environments Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications Inspection Authorization (IA) Certificate 2+ years of relevant GA aircraft maintenance experience
