Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled RV Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of recreational vehicle systems and components. Your expertise will ensure our customers' RVs are safe, reliable, and ready for their next adventure. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on RV electrical systems, engines, transmissions, HVAC units, suspension, brakes, and other key components using automotive diagnostic tools. Conduct repairs and maintenance including oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacement, and brake repairs. Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems, HVAC units, and other specialized RV equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and assembly tools to complete repairs efficiently and accurately. Inspect and repair diesel engines, heavy lifting equipment, auto body damage, and perform welding or equipment repair as needed. Maintain detailed documentation of all service work performed; communicate clearly with customers about repairs needed or completed. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, air brake adjustments, suspension checks, and alignment procedures to keep RVs in peak condition. Requirements Proven dealership experience or service technician background with hands-on automotive repair expertise. Strong electrical knowledge including automotive electrical systems and diagnostics. Mechanical knowledge across various systems such as transmissions, HVAC units, suspension components, shocks & struts. Experience with automotive diagnostics tools and techniques; ability to interpret error codes effectively. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and heavy lifting safety procedures. Knowledge of plumbing systems within RVs as well as auto body repair skills is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Valid mechanic experience or relevant certifications preferred; dealership or heavy-duty vehicle experience highly desirable.
