Duties Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on trucks and trailers Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and air brake systems Conduct welding, fabrication, and assembly work to repair or modify equipment as needed Service vehicle systems such as transmissions, suspensions, shocks & struts, brakes, HVAC systems, and wheel alignments Operate power tools and heavy lifting equipment safely to facilitate repairs and maintenance tasks Replace tires, perform tire service including balancing and rotation; ensure proper tire pressure and tread depth Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed; adhere to safety protocols and quality standards at all times Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive background in heavy truck repair and trailer maintenance Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems repair, hydraulics, electrical systems, and welding techniques Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery Familiarity with schematics for troubleshooting complex vehicle electrical and mechanical issues Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and diagnostic software for automotive electrical systems Experience working with diesel engines, transmissions, air brakes, suspension systems, shocks & struts is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members Join us in keeping our fleet on the move!
