We specialize in pre-owned vehicles sold as-is and operate in a fast-paced environment where efficiency, quality, and teamwork are essential. Our service team plays a critical role in preparing vehicles for sale and maintaining dealership standards. About the role Parkline Motors is seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. This role is responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across a wide range of vehicle makes and models. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced dealership environment where turnaround time and consistency matter. What you'll do Perform routine maintenance and mechanical repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues accurately and efficiently Conduct vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs Complete repairs to meet dealership quality and safety standards Maintain and repair shop equipment as needed Work closely with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely vehicle turnaround Keep work area clean and organized and follow all safety procedures Qualifications Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues Experience operating automotive tools and shop equipment Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and standing for extended periods Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to communicate effectively and work within a team environment Valid driver's license required and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as an automotive technician or mechanic preferred Diagnostic experience required Schedule & Work Environment Full-time position Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts On-site role at Parkline Motors Fast-paced automotive service environment with a mix of shop work and physical activity Compensation Starting pay $25•30/hour depending on experience Benefits may include: 401(k) Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Paid time off
