Job Description

DRP Collision is looking for motivated individuals who are interested in developing a career in the collision repair industry. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, a quick learner, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, a strong communicator, a team player, reliable, honest, and willing to grow. DRP Collision is a locally owned, family-operated auto body shop that has proudly served Powhatan and the surrounding counties for the past 16 years. We operate a state-of-the-art collision center equipped with modern tools and technology that are essential for completing safe, high-quality vehicle repairs. We provide in-house training based on I-CAR Gold Class standards, ASE certifications, and OEM repair specifications.
Training may include:
Blueprinting and meticulous vehicle disassembly Mechanical repairs Glass installation Structural and non-structural repairs Refinish and paint preparation Wheel alignments ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) We also provide opportunities for team members to develop into administrative and leadership roles, including: Parts management Estimating Customer service Office management Team members may also have access to professional development and soft-skills training focused on communication, process improvement, problem-solving, and other areas that support long-term career growth. Position Details This is an entry-level position that begins with hourly compensation, with the potential to transition into a commission-based role as skills and experience develop. Mechanical experience is preferred but not required. The position will initially involve working as a supervised Disassembly Technician or Reassembly Technician, while also assisting with general shop responsibilities, including keeping work areas clean and organized and supporting the production team as needed. A valid driver's license is required.
