Job Description
Heavy Equipment Mechanic Join the Perkinson Construction Team! As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a company that values its employees. What You'll Do You'll be responsible for keeping our fleet running safely and efficiently by: Diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment and trucks Performing preventative maintenance and inspections Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues Maintaining equipment including dozers, excavators, dump trucks, crew trucks, and other construction machinery Helping ensure our crews have reliable equipment to get the job done What We're Looking For At least 5 years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic Ability to provide your own tools Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver heavy parts while working in a shop and field environment A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to be a team player What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience 401K with company match Company paid Health Insurance Dental & Vision Insurance STD, Life, and Accident Insurance Paid Time Off Apply Today!
