Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, and suspension. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively. Repair or replace powertrain components such as engines, transmissions, and drive axles to restore optimal vehicle performance. Perform wheel alignments and brake services to ensure safety and vehicle longevity. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools efficiently. Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, estimated timelines, and maintenance recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction. Requirements Proven dealership or automotive service experience with a strong background in vehicle repair and maintenance. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and schematics reading skills. Hands-on experience diagnosing issues with automotive diagnostics equipment across various vehicle makes and models. Mechanical knowledge of powertrain systems, transmissions, diesel engines, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software. Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
