Job Description

West Coast Truck & Trailer Repair is growing, and we are adding another service truck to our mobile fleet. We are looking for an experienced, top-notch Mobile Truck & Trailer Mechanic who takes pride in their work and wants to join a company that continues to expand its service footprint throughout the Puget Sound region. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who enjoys working independently, solving problems in the field, and providing outstanding service to customers. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair commercial trucks, trailers, and related equipment Perform preventive maintenance and
DOT/FHWA
inspections Troubleshoot and repair air brake, suspension, electrical, ABS, and lighting systems Complete trailer body, door, roof, flooring, and structural repairs Diagnose and service liftgates and other hydraulic equipment Perform welding and light fabrication as needed Respond to scheduled service calls and roadside repair requests Maintain accurate service records and clearly communicate repair findings Keep the assigned service truck clean, organized, and properly stocked Provide professional and dependable service at customer locations Qualifications Previous professional truck and trailer repair experience is required Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities Experience with commercial trailer systems, air brakes, electrical systems, and ABS Welding and fabrication experience is highly preferred Liftgate and hydraulic experience is a plus Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently Must provide your own basic hand tools Strong communication skills and a professional attitude Dependable, self-motivated, and committed to quality workmanship Willingness to participate in the company's evening and weekend on-call rotation Schedule and On-Call Rotation Full-time position One on-call evening per week Weekend on-call rotation approximately once every six weeks Overtime opportunities may be available What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Fully equipped mobile service truck Consistent, year-round work Opportunities for overtime A well-established company with a strong customer base Support from an experienced shop, parts department, and dispatch team Opportunity to grow with an expanding mobile service operation Benefits discussed during the interview process West Coast Truck & Trailer Repair has served the Puget Sound region since 1991. Pay:
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
