Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious CDL Driver / Yard Tech to join our team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for transporting panels and materials between company yards, as well as assisting with yard operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a versatile individual who enjoys both driving and hands-on yard work.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport panels and other materials between designated company yards using a CDL Class A or B vehicle. Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on trucks to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Assist with loading and unloading panels, ensuring they are properly secured for transportation. Support yard operations by organizing and moving materials, equipment, and products as needed. Operate forklifts and other yard equipment to facilitate loading/unloading and material handling (training provided if needed). Maintain a clean and organized yard, ensuring that inventory is properly stored and equipment is in good working condition. Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
CDL Class A or B with a clean driving record. Previous experience in transportation and yard operations is preferred but not required. Ability to operate forklifts and yard equipment (or willingness to learn). Strong attention to detail, especially regarding load safety and equipment checks. Must be able to lift and move heavy objects as part of yard operations. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a team-oriented attitude.
