Job Description
Due to continuous growth and expansion, Witt Family Ford is looking to add a Service Consultant/Writer to our team! We are seeking a success oriented customer service advisor who will work passionately towards assisting and educating customers on options available, to provide customer assistance and deliver a positive automotive service experience. The customer service advisor serves as a communication liaison between our customers and our technicians within the service department by maintaining knowledge of product and services.

•Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the dealerships customer Service desk, in compliance with established service shop policies and procedures. Manages, plans and sells Service repair orders (RO) from start to finish within the Service Department. Position is directly responsible for the profitability of each RO as well as the sale of each individual technicians available hours. Works in conjunction with Service Foreman to direct technicians in an efficient and proficient manner on each RO. Service Advisor communicates status of RO with customers and internal staff as necessary. Works closely with Service Manager to assist in daily / weekly / monthly goals.
Position Responsibility:
Assist customers via phone, e-mail or walk-in with current and/or future service repairs Update CRM system with customer updates, estimates and parts needs Communicate thoroughly and timely with customers regarding pending service repairs Following proper systems and procedures, start, follow through and close ROs in a timely manner Meet or exceed departmental targets, as set forth by Service Manager Work closely with Service Manager and Service Foreman to insure jobs are transitioned properly between service shifts Maintains appropriate communications within and between various departments as needed Exceeds customer satisfaction index (CSI) scores as set for in Dealer Operating Standards and by Service Manager Promotes safe work habits and ensures that safety rules are followed Performs other duties as assigned by
Service Manager Qualifications:
Prefer previous service/technical experience Prefer previous direct customer contact experience Must have excellent communication skills Requires strong attitude and work ethic Ability to work in service/technical environment Why else would you choose us?
