Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Execute oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and wheel balancing to optimize vehicle performance. Repair and replace mechanical systems such as air brakes, ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems), auto body components, and auto electrical systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical repair techniques to complete repairs efficiently. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems on diverse vehicle makes and models. Ensure all work adheres to safety standards while delivering excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and managing expectations professionally. Qualifications Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive suspension systems, transmissions, diesel engines, and heavy equipment mechanics. Skilled in automotive diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and the use of diagnostic software tools. Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, auto body repair, auto estimating, and GM vehicles is a plus. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools required for automotive service tasks. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems including ADAS technology is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
