Job Description
## Standard Job Description Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) team at Beale AFB California, As a U-2 Aircraft Modification Technical Lead. You will be responsible for providing critical planning and execution of U-2 Depot-level modifications and Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO). What You Will Be Doing Provides a level of postsales support and service to customer sites and remote sites at a high-tech level that cannot be rendered by the basic level of field hardware and systems software service. Employee is usually introduced to the customer site when the nature of equipment service required is beyond the skill level possessed by the basic field/customer service engineer. Additional resonsibilites include but are not limited to:
- Serve as intermediary between the technicians, CFT Site Lead, and customer while assisting technicians with day-to-day activities.
- (This is a working Technical Lead Position) Applicants will be skilled in aircraft electrical systems, aircraft wiring maintenance and or Structural maintenance build up for MOD Aircraft.
- Complete jobs in maintenance data collection systems, adhere to all technical orders, fault isolation manuals, ground operating procedures and local operational instructions.
- Perform troubleshooting on systems and components on the aircraft as required.
- Responsible to support all maintenance performed on the assigned aircraft.
- Responsible for providing status of work accomplished to CFT Lead and customer
- Assist with product discipline, housekeeping, HAZMAT accountability, Tool & FOD controls, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Must be able to work and communicate well both orally and written in a team environment as this position involves significant and continued interface with customer and personnel at all levels. Must read, write and speak English fluently.
- Documented qualifications in related maintenance fields.
- Regularly required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive movements, and perform work from ground level to overhead.
- This position requires frequent standing for long periods, walking, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and twisting.
- Must be a United States citizen.

- Minimum 3 years experience with U-2 or Fighter aircraft maintenance and modification activities to include Depot Maintenance or MODs
- Experienced in U-2 and or Fighter Aircraft Avionics, Electrical and Environmental or structures specialties
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics, workbooks
- Experience with USAF products and processes to include hardware and maintenance, technical orders and technical drawings, at the organizational and intermediate levels ## Desired Skills The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates:
- Experience operating autonomously with minimal direction from management
- Experience in process development and continuous improvement
- Experience managing the production of weekly status reports, metrics, incorporation documents, and schedules.
- Experience interpreting and executing policies and procedures that typically affect aircraft maintenance and modification activities as related to US services.
- Familiarity with system such as Service-Flo, FIN, JEDI, DIMS & writing AR's.
- U-2 Aircraft MOD experience
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range:
$81500.00- $151300.
