Maintenance Technician PHP is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team to help manage the properties that are group homes for adults with intellectual disabilities.. This role is vital in ensuring the safety and functionality of our group homes, supporting our mission to provide loving and stable environments for adults with intellectual disabilities. Based in your local area, you will contribute directly to enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential facilities to ensure safety and compliance.

Typical duties include:

repairing plumbing leaks repairing doors, locks repairing drywall, flooring handling minor painting and carpentry repairing lighting and basic electrical issues performing preventive maintenance changing HVAC filters troubleshooting appliances and equipment assembling or installing furniture and fixtures maintaining outdoor areas track, complete and document work orders track supplies and parts inspect homes for safety concerns correct deficiencies identified during surveys or inspections help keep emergency equipment functional coordinate with outside vendors
