As you support their daily environment and comfort, you build meaningful relationships and help create a safe and welcoming place they call home. Position Summary Under the direction of the Director of Housekeeping , the Floor Tech is responsible for cleaning and maintaining facility floors while assisting with housekeeping tasks in resident rooms and common areas as needed. What You'll Do Dust and wet mop floors in hallways, entryways, and common areas Strip, wax, and buff floors according to the facility's cleaning schedule Use approved cleaning agents and equipment following proper procedures Check equipment for proper functioning and report any issues to the supervisor Clean equipment thoroughly after each use Assist with cleaning resident rooms and assigned work areas as needed Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines What We're Looking For Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills Patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude toward the elderly and disabled Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English Must be at least 18 years of age Must be capable of performing the Essential Job Functions and Physical & Sensory Requirements for the position Benefits for Our Full-Time Employees Competitive wages Elite Low-Cost Blue Cross Blue Shield Gold Plan Health Insurance Dental Insurance Life Insurance Vision Insurance 401(k) with company match Paid Holidays Paid Vacation We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in the workplace.
