Role:
The Maintenance position is critical to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of facilities and equipment within our organization. The primary goal of this role is to perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of machinery and infrastructure. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential issues before they escalate, thereby supporting a safe and productive work environment. The Maintenance professional will collaborate closely with other departments to prioritize maintenance tasks and respond promptly to urgent repair needs. Ultimately, this position contributes significantly to operational continuity and cost savings by maintaining high standards of equipment reliability and facility upkeep.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in maintenance or a related technical field. Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Valid driver's license and ability to operate maintenance equipment safely.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical certification or vocational training in maintenance, HVAC, or electrical systems. Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and compliance requirements. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or on-call shifts if necessary.
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular inspections of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to identify maintenance needs. Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, adjustments, and replacements to prevent equipment failures. Diagnose and repair malfunctions in machinery, HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and other facility components. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts used, and time spent on repairs. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize operational disruptions. Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance projects. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
