In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical systems and equipment across our facilities. Your expertise will ensure optimal operation of HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen appliances, and other mechanical components. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering high-quality maintenance services. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure continuous operation. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools. Install, troubleshoot, and maintain appliances and mechanical equipment with precision and care. Conduct HVAC & appliance technology repairs including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and related components. Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment as needed for maintenance tasks. Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs and installations. Lead maintenance projects by coordinating with team members or contractors to complete repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed. Support the upkeep of construction sites or facilities by performing mechanical systems repair and general maintenance duties. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with team members and responding promptly to maintenance requests. Experience Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance mechanic with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair. Demonstrated ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for troubleshooting complex mechanical issues. Experience with HVAC system repair including air conditioning units and ventilation systems. Knowledge of kitchen equipment maintenance such as ovens, dishwashers, refrigerators, and other appliances. Familiarity with maintenance operations including MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) procedures. Construction experience or background in mechanical systems installation is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with leadership skills to guide team efforts when necessary. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely in various environments.
